Stone Valley Landscapes (“we”, “us”) is a landscaping business based near Bracknell, Berkshire. This page explains, in plain English, what we do with your information when you contact us or use this website.
What we collect
Only what you give us: your name and contact details (phone, email), and anything you tell us about your garden or project when you enquire by phone, WhatsApp, email or the enquiry form. Our website also uses privacy-friendly analytics to count visits. This does not identify you personally.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare an estimate and carry out any work you ask us to. We do not sell your information, and we don’t send marketing you haven’t asked for.
The tools on this site
Some features (the Garden Check and the “are we in your area?” checker) look up public data for a postcode you type in: soil, geology, flood risk, planning and wildlife information from public sources. Your postcode is used to make that lookup and is not stored by us.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to do the job, for example a materials supplier for a delivery, or where the law requires it. We never share your details for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our legal and tax obligations, then securely dispose of them.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just get in touch. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information.
